A few weeks ago, I was kindly invited to an event in West Bridgeford at the Beauty Temple* for a candyfloss cocktail evening.
When I arrived, I was greeted with a candyfloss Prosecco and a choice of beauty treatments. I opted for a candyfloss hand massage and some festival makeup. The other options were festival braids (my hair needed washing so I decided not to get this one done) and the candyfloss foot massage but I don’t get my feet out for anyone so that was a no go too.
First up was the candyfloss massage (once I had removed all the bracelets I decided to wear that day and my watch). The oil smelt amazing and the massage itself made my arms feel amazing. I asked about the oil and the oil is made for the Beauty Temple to the scent that they come up with so there isn’t much of it around! The oil was worked into my inner and outer forearms, wrists and hands and it was, not only relaxing, but my arms felt so soft for a couple of days afterwards. And from what I heard, the foot massage was just as good!
The festival makeup I had done afterwards looked amazing! The MUA used glue, glitter, highlighter and lip glosses to give that shiny, sparkly look. I’m not usually a fan of lip gloss but I really liked the Delilah one that was used – it wasn’t sticky and the colour was well pigmented.
The Beauty Temple offer a range of treatments from blow dries, to nails, to makeovers. I picked up one of the brochures to have a look through and I’ve made a list of some of the most appealing treatments and pamper sessions that they offer that I want to go back for:
-The ultimate blow out
-Royal Indulgence colour cocktail blow dry
-Bottomless Prosecco blow dry
-Royal back massage
-Line Eraser facial
-Super food facial
-Indian head massage
The salon itself is beautiful! It is clean, fresh and the décor was gorgeous. I really wanted to take a couple of chairs home, they are so pretty! It’s decorated mostly pink and grey with gorgeous products everywhere on display. Plus it smells amazing in there (I think it may be the candyfloss).
The makeup stand is pure goals, the set up was lovely and it all just looks so professional and tempting. I was eying up the makeup section for ages, then I saw the Elemis skin care range on another wall. I have sampled Elemis before, the Superfood face cream, and I really liked it so to see the whole range in one place excited me!
All in all, I would definitely recommend a visit to the Beauty Temple in West Bridgeford. Not only are the treatments and salon amazing, the staff are lovely and so talented at what they do.
Beauty Temple also have salons in Mapperly and Nottingham City Centre so you have these places to choose from as well.
*Thank you to Beauty Temple and Gemini PR & Marketing for the invite to this event. As usual, all thoughts and opinions are my own*
