Jam packed jars of fun!

August 21, 2018

I am very excited and privileged to have been selected as a brand rep for the amazing Ada's Designs!

Ada's Designs do some amazing products called 'Jam Packed Jars' and they range across so many themes, perfect for both adults and children! As you guys may be able to tell from my reading jar and my Favourites Friday posts - I love to use jars in projects so these creations made my jar loving, strange little heart smile.

This month, I was excited to receive two jars; Memory Game and 52 Weeks of Date Nights.  I want to show you guys what these jars were like, my thoughts and I may have a little discount for you guys should you want to purchase anything from Ada's Designs...  Just keep on reading to find out more!

Memory Game

So my husband and I love to play games, and we often play games with friends too so we were excited to receive this one in the post!  This game is fab for all ages, and we had a good laugh playing it together!  So definitely all ages as we are 26 and 31 so definitely not just for children!

So the main game is your typical game of pairs, you match up two photos or words, taking turns until you find a pair, then continue on until you find all the pairs and whoever has found the most is the winner.  I'm usually quite good at this, but I have been beaten once or twice...!

As well this game, there are two alternative games written on cars inside the jar.

I don't see why you couldn't make your own game up too, something like 'odd one out' if you play with children.  For example, putting down four cards such as teapot, lamp, tree and toilet - three of them are household items, one is an outdoor item and see if children can work out which one the odd one out is.  This game isn't made for this, but I don't see why you can't do things like this to help young children learn.  The Jam Packed Jars are versatile and you can play with them how you would want to.

Which brings us onto the next jar...

52 Weeks of Date Nights

The first date night we pulled out was going on a picnic!

Nicky and I like to have as many date nights as we can, we just don't have the time or money most of the time to manage it on a regular basis.  This means that this date idea was the best idea ever!  Although, if we don't have time at the weekend then we will be doing it inside like it says on the card.  If the weather is nice, it will be in our garden with Wealsey, Bellatrix and Sniffles - which is fine!  I love our little family of animals so that would be quite cute.

I will be doing Instagram updates on our little date night having a picnic.

I absolutely LOVE these jars and I would recommend them to anyone!  There are loads of different themes on the website, go and have a nosey and see what takes your fancy!  I also have a discount code EMMA5BR for you to use at checkout - 10% off at checkout!
