Favourites Friday! Week 3

August 24, 2018

Welcome to week 3!

I am loving this Friday feature every week, it's great fun for me to do and I really enjoy looking back at my week at things I have seen, read, used, etc.

This week's category is:

Favourite outfit

So this week, I have been really boring with outfits as I have been at work every day and not doing anything that warrants a change of clothes and venturing out into society in the evenings, so I don't have one to write about this week.

HOWEVER, I am out all day tomorrow for my friend's birthday celebrations and I am loving my outfit for it!  Super cute, comfortable and something that I know I will adore wearing.  Also, something that I like in an outfit, is one I can match my makeup to.  The first thing, is a V neck grey vest top from Boohoo.

It cost me £6 and it's so comfy!  It's quite big on me, but I love oversized clothes.  I'm pairing this with a pair of blue skinny jeans from George at Asda - their Wonderfit range, which are so comfy and so stretchy to fit your body shape.

These have been ripped at the belt loop for ages, so I'm got my sewing machine out and fixed them.  I really wanted ripped and distressed jeans this weekend, but I couldn't find any that looked right on me.  I had planned to distress these but I didn't have time to learn how to do it in one night.  So I'm keeping them as they are!

To accessorise, I have got all my favourite accessories together and deciding what I can put together to look super adorable.

I have gone with my favourite necklace that I ADORE.  I have matched this with some big hoop earrings, and lots of bracelets.  And of course, my beautiful Olivia Burton watch to add a bit of luxury to my outfit.  I will also be wearing my favourite, extremely comfortable, brown boots which I have had to do some DIY on.

To compete this look, I am using my little black clutch bag.  I'm using this with its chain strap so I can easily carry it around with the basic necessities in it; phone, lipstick, lip balm, ID, hand mirror and tiny bottle of Kat Von D perfume.

This outfit really is me to a T.  I love to wear casual clothes with loads of accessories, and I feel ready for the day I have ahead of me tomorrow!
